The Administrative Building of Thessaloniki’s port is a two-storey building, occupying an area of 1590 square meters. The current functional characteristics include areas for the Coast Guard Personnel, offices of Economic Crime, spaces and offices of consulting and organization, as well as the Port’s Public Relations Department, the President’s Office and the Board Meeting Room.
The building, realized by Thessaloniki's Port High Direction in 1939, holds an expression of the rationalist architectural movement of functional hierarchy, using also a hybridization of aesthetic classical order and modern elements.
